The rebate does not affect the door pairs width, as stated in the specifications. The door width stated is the total width of both doors and the rebate and allows for a 2-3mm clearance between the two doors.
Solid Oak lipping allowing for 6mm to be trimmed off the top and bottom of the door, allowing for up to 12mm reduction in height. 6mm can be removed from the width of each door from the hinge edge only, meaning a total reduction of 12mm across the door pair, and no reduction can be made to the rebated edge
